This site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. It does not sell or share your personal information.
What we collect
Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject, and message. The form sends this by email to Cameron West and Rikki West, and we use it only to reply to you. Please do not include sensitive medical or personal details you are not comfortable sharing by email.
Server logs. Our web host records standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We do not use this data to identify you or build profiles.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
Third parties
- YouTube. The video on the home page loads from YouTube only after you click play. YouTube may then collect data under Google's privacy policy.
- Outbound links. Links to retailers (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, Blackstone Publishing), news outlets, and resource organizations lead to sites with their own privacy practices. We do not control them.
- Affiliate link. The Amazon link for The Medici Dagger contains an affiliate tag. If you buy through it, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.
- Email. Contact form messages are delivered to a Yahoo Mail inbox.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and visitors in the EU/UK have similar rights under the GDPR. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
